If you’re unfamiliar with the renowned wedding dress designer, Hayley Paige, let me fill you in. Her story is one of career highs, lows and a whole lot of hard work. Known for her whimsical, fairytale-like gowns, Paige launched her namesake collection with JLM at age 25. She became a bridal celebrity before a public 2020 lawsuit by JLM. JLM claimed ownership of her name and social media accounts. After nearly four years of legal struggle, Paige settled with JLM, reclaiming her brand and social media, allowing her to launch new designs!
Hayley was getting ready to take to the stage on a hot summer night, late July in West Palm Beach, Florida. Her return to the industry, an ultimate comeback and homecoming was being coordinated by luxury planner, Whitney Carillon. I had the privilege of connecting with Whitney back in the Spring of 2025 when I attended High Tea at the Plaza in New York City. Whitney was impressed with my artistic delivery and wanted to gift Hayley with a large scale painting of the event and reached out about making this a possibility for her!
On my way to create a painting for Hayley Paige
Sunday, July 27, was quickly approaching. I had another wedding to paint at on Saturday, July 26, here in Colorado. I painted at that wedding until about 10pm on Saturday and when that wrapped up I headed to the Denver International Airport to hop on an overnight, red eye to West Palm Beach. My flight took off at midnight and I was on my way! I landed with plenty of time before the event so I hit the gym for a quick workout and shower refresh. After a Power Nap at the hotel I was ready to party the night away!
I was going to be working on a rather large painting, a 24×30 canvas! I prepped my canvas in a hot pink so that the underpainting would pop through and showcase some bright pinks! Very Hayley like. The vendors I got to work with were next level professionals. In fact, I’ve not seen such talent all in one place in possibly my entire life! The list of vendors will be included at the bottom of this event. When the fashion show started I simply could not believe my eyes! Front row of an incredibly exclusive event?? It probably was not until this moment that I fully understood the gravity of the situation. Wow. I truly could not believe the incredible designs.
We danced and partied the night away while the guests helped me create a completely unique live painting experience. At this point I will just stop rambling and attach some killer pictures! Thank you, Hayley & Whitney for allowing me to play a small part in this spectacular event!
