Think of this scenario: you’re watching a professional sporting league and one team is about to win the major title or trophy. The lead is slim, and this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. This moment cannot be repeated. It’s all on the line. Now the star player is coming in, the one with the highest salary. Why does this person have the highest salary? Because they’re the best of the best. And they always deliver. Sure enough, they have executed their play to perfection and win it all. The moment goes down in history as sheer perfection.

Now of course, this is just an illustration. But a lot of it holds true! This is someone’s wedding day. An event that can’t be repeated (well, it CAN, but, you know). And what’s more? The pressure is high. Often times these events have been planned for years on end. So there is an expectation of perfection in the air! Then, what defines a “Luxury” vendor. And no, it’s not always a price point. It’s the experience they provide. You could have a low price point vendor that delivers excellence, headache free. And that would be a luxury experience! Luxury wedding vendors have a reputation for providing seamless, incredibly executed events for their clients. Clients who don’t have to lift a finger or think twice about anything. Clients who wake up, get ready and get to marry the love of their life.

Alright, so we have established that luxury is not related to money. More often than not though, these vendors know their worth and want to work with clients who know their worth. Of course, no one is stopping anyone from claiming they are luxury. But you can see it! You can see it in the way they present on social media. The way their brand looks and feels. And you can certainly see it in their reviews. Be sure to read reviews carefully and follow down links and hashtags to see other works of these individuals. A little sleuthing never hurt, especially when it comes to your wedding!

If you don’t feel like you need to have a “luxury” vendor, then don’t! It is all good! But it would be wise to entertain a mindset adjustment. If your budget only allows for so much, that does not mean that you deserve to be subjected to headaches and hiccups on your big day. However, that expectation should not be held as high. Undoubtably, I am sure that whoever you choose to work with for your wedding will put their heart and soul into their craft. But what is the price of a seamless experience?
