Apres Ski? Yes, please! I was so excited to start 2025 off with a bang on the incredible slopes of Steamboat Springs, Colorado on a snowy February day. The bride, Ellie, is a medical student planning a wedding in the midst of her residency (with an extra resident year, to boot!). We connected via her planner, Casey Muller, the owner and principal planner with Aspen and Ivy events. Aspen and Ivy is known for it’ s ability to produce spectacular events and trust me, this was spectacular! Inside the Champagne Powder Room after a day of skiing amongst loved ones, Ellie and Logan were ready to dance the night away and surprise their guests with a favor that “wow”‘s! Custom watercolor guest portrait favors provided by yours truly, of course!
Each family received their own custom portrait created for them on the spot. About 75 individuals received a favor that night! Guests stopped by my station for a quick pose and photograph snap and returned within an hour or two to receive their favor. The customized paper was simple: February 8, 2025, Steamboat Springs. This customization adds a flair that will remind the friends and family of the date and good times had! Not every couple chooses to customize their paper but I personally love this added touch.
At the end of the night, snow-burned and love struck, the soft falling snow added to the gentle romance in the air. Ellie and Logan, I am so proud to have been able to work with you. Watching you celebrate your love, in your own unique way, will make this wedding one I certainly won’t forget! Have you thought of custom watercolor guest portrait favors for your event? If so, trust that you’re in the best of hands with an artist who cares! I want you and your friends and family to walk away with an experience they won’t forget.
